1. Green Belt Exam:

Green Belt role: Supports a Six Sigma Black Belt by analyzing and solving quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects.

Education/Experience – three years of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge. This certification is NOT a requirement for Six Sigma Black Belt certification

2. Black Belt Exam:

Black Belt role: Understands Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including the supporting systems and tools. Demonstrates team leadership and understands all aspects of the DMAIC model in accordance with Six Sigma principles. Education/Experience – two completed projects with signed affidavits, or one completed project with signed affidavit and three years of work experience in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge. You do NOT need to be a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
