Tom Kling is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified in MAIC and Design for Six Sigma. He is responsible for mentoring Black Belts and other Master Black Belts globally, and for acquiring & implementing Six Sigma methods for Research & Development. He is a subject matter expert in advanced problem solving methods and the inventive methodology TRIZ as well as DFSS.

Kling began his career at Dow in 1975, specializing in product & process development and Total Quality Management. He has held a wide variety of technical positions within Dow, in Research & Development, Pilot Plants, Technical Service & Development and Operations. In R&D, he served as Master Black Belt to install and start up Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma in Dow’s Corporate R&D Department.

Kling holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of North Dakota.

Gary leads TBM’s Global Strategy Deployment, Growth and International practice areas. A former senior executive in aerospace, transportation and medical device industries, Gary brings many years of broad and practical experience in lean business strategy development and deployment to TBM’s clients worldwide. Gary, as President and CEO has led two global suppliers to the leading OEMs of the world and has led the acquisition and integration of four businesses in four years. Gary has an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree from Aurora University and earned his CPA designation in the state of Illinois.
